She would much rather exchange her sewing needle for a sword, the thimble that protects her thumb for a true shield to protect her body, but she is left, as always, to sew, sew, sew.
It's not that she thinks sewing is bad - she finds herself rather in awe of those who can complete thick bands of embroidery on swathes of fabric. It's as easy as breathing for them, yet her own worst enemy.
