"just leave me alone!" she yelled trying to free herself from her best friend.
"what did i do? why are you so mad at me? why are you avoiding me?!" Arch whispered, trying to get his best friend's attention.
"Just let me go...." She trembled.
"Why? Just give me the reason!" He ran his fingers through his hair. She knew he was running out of patience.
"because i love you, you idiot!" she replied with her eyes closed, avoiding the situation they are in.
Suddenly she heard Arch laughing. She looked at him in full confusion. He took a step closer to her and sneaked his arms around her waist.
"And you thought I don't?"
Maddison and Arch were two best friends since the boy moved next to her house when they were 10. They were inseparable and liked to hang out all the time. Arch being the popular guy in school, gained people's attention wherever he goes, unlike Mads, who's a nerd and spend all the time in their school library. Mads was in love with her best friend since the first time they met, but unable to confess, being the 'School Best Friends' .
