Nature is a creature of balance. So would men say.
A Tilism bearer would say otherwise. Such men boast the knowledge to bend nature to their will.
But can they really do it without repercussions? Can water really boil without fire? Can winds really be made to stop?
Or these so-called vain magicians have been harbouring a lie for ages?

Centuries ago, the people were driven out from their rightful land of the north -- the fertile plains of the seven rivers -- to the south. Exiled in shame and poverty, they embraced the harsh life of the plateaus, and made a new home. Anathia.
In the land of Anathia, life is hard. The dry air is coarse, the black soil is dark. And dark are the lives, and the hearts of the people-- fueled by the rage and jealousy at their northern neighbours.

In a world of brewing hatred, one man wakes up alone, with no recollection of who he is and how he came to be. He is surrounded by people who have scorn for him in their eyes, contempt in their words. They all call him by the same one-word -- Whiteman.
Exiled in the land where he doesn't truly belong, he is surrounded by poverty, and bigotry and death. So he dreams -- dreams to escape back among his own people -- where he can finally live a life of freedom.

But can he ever be truly free?

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

In a world where power decides fate, those born without magic-the Snakes-are seen as cursed, descendants of the Great White Serpent that was cast into the depths long ago. They are outcasts, prey for the Sun-Blessed, who wield magic like gods and rule with an iron grip. Mila has always known what she is-a Snake, meant to bow, meant to suffer. Until the day she is thrown from the heights, left to die at the hands of the powerful. But death never comes. Her blood ignites. Her body shifts. And from the abyss, she rises-a dragon reborn. Across the golden spires, Prince Edwin is raised to believe his destiny is to command a great dragon, just as his ancestors did before him. The world is his to rule, and the Snakes are his to crush. But Edwin is soft, too kind for a world built on cruelty. He dreams of peace, of change-of a future where power isn't everything. When fate binds the prince and the dragon together, their worlds collide in a way neither could have expected. Mila is no servant, and Edwin is no tyrant-but in a world that demands they be enemies, can they rewrite the story written in their blood? A legend reborn. A kingdom on the brink. And two souls bound by fate, standing on opposite sides of a war that has raged for centuries.
