GlobeTech has a lot of dark secrets, including laboratories that...aren't exactly legal or moral. These places hold the darkest and most disturbing things imaginable.
That's where Lilac and Amy have been stuck their whole lives, all alone. They're genetically modified humans who aren't able to feel physical pain, and so they're treated like they aren't able to feel any emotions at all.
These labs are nightmares for all the people stuck there, and everyone deals with it in different ways. Lilac is terrified, she's almost always silent, afraid of being punished for being too loud, which happens a lot because of her horrible nightmares. Amy on the other hand, is angry. Every chance she gets she's shouting at the lab techs, fighting them, destroying their equipment.
In a desperate attempt to get two of their most difficult "experiments" to cooperate, the people at GlobeTech try something different, they introduce Amy and Lilac to each other. But things don't go to plan, and it quickly becomes clear that everyone is in over their heads.
