The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a test most elementary school students take. But what if you were running for your life?

So basically, the pacer test is a test that elementary students take for PE in the US (maybe other countries, idk). When you hear a beep, you run to the other side of the gym. If you are not at the other end before the beep, you're out, and you have to sit down. The beeps get faster and faster.

Especially at night after my nightmares. The nightmares are roughly the same, the experiment that turned my dad into a big green monster but instead he doesn't survive the blast. What a lot of people don't know is that I was actually in the lab with him. I watched as he tested the machines to make sure there were no accidents or causalities. Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people? To this place goes certain girl. She is :new" in town and no one knows her yet. In the town she lived before she was known as "Queen K". Nobody knew her real name. However nothing last forever and even her "team" discovered her name. The whole team had to run and leave their families behind as soon as others found out what exactly are they doing. Only one way to find out! this follows tmr, tst, and tdc but not exactly Thomas and Minho are your best friends but Minho has always been closer to you if you see any errors or something doest make sense, pls tell me and ill change it. But try and be nice and resonable when you do give me advice. But someone sitting next to me looked at me and noticed how pale I looked, or noticed that tears were welling in my eyes and I was drooping. I wrapped my hands around my throat seconds before I blacked out. That was only the first instance. In the time that I was unconscious, my lungs filled with fluid and I almost died. I was out for nearly two days, and my parents really thought that I would die. I vaguely remember hearing my mom crying while I couldn't open my eyes, and my dad telling her that maybe it was just my time and they had to let me go. But then I woke up, and the fluid had been drained from my lungs. I spent a while more in the hospital, and in that time, my parents found out that I had cancer. It had been determined that I probably wouldn't live much longer, maybe three months at the most. The conversation was happening outside my room, where I was supposed to be asleep, but I still heard the whole thing. What I remember most is my mom's sobs.
