Aretha was a disconnected witch. She didn't belong to a coven and she lived out of societies reach in a peaceful forest untouched by war. Zahir was a boy with no family and no friends to speak of. All he wished for was somewhere safe to stay and all Aretha wished for was someone to teach the ways of the forest. This worked out perfectly for the two but what things will stand in the way of their wishes?
