Cynthia has one job; protect the bad boy’s life. Forced into working as a trained assassin for her parents’ agency, Cynthia has been assigned with the task of keeping the bad boy out of the danger that his father has dragged him into. Cynthia has grown up with a gun, risking her life on every mission; so this should be easier than easy for her, right? Wrong.

Secretly being the bodyguard of the resident town’s bad boy Houston, isn't exactly a walk in the park; especially when he discovers what’s going on. Handling weapons and fighting back is Cynthia’s forte, but when she has to share her house with a smart-ass, sarcastic jerk, she realizes that no amount of training could have prepared her for this challenge.

13 days. 13 days is all Cynthia has, to wipe out the enemies in order for her to complete her assignment and for Houston to come out alive (if she doesn't kill him first). 13 days filled with arguments, sarcastic remarks, fancy dinners, road trips and a whole lot of sexual tension.

Cynthia is about to find out just how protecting the bad boy is going to be her most difficult mission yet.
