This is Sam and Deena from the Fear Street movies.
It's set in Shadyside, Ohio, and it's their senior year together. They have a friend group with Kate and Simon, who are still alive. Many things try to force Sam and Deena apart. Sam's mom, Caleb, Peter, Taylor and Olivia, a bullet. And a fatal illness.
It's an AU, but similar to before 1994. Lots of angst but also a lot of tenderness between these two. Any serious triggers are warned and tagged.
There are mature themes and any smut is now faded to black.
