Hearing the plea of Princess Zelda, a small guardian travels backward in time to warn the Kingdom of Hyrule of the Calamity fast approaching, with Zelda's sealing powers lying dormant and the identity of the heroes unknown, the kingdom begins planning for another way to defeat Calamity Ganon, however, a mysterious evil wants everything to go as planned, as seen from the future, putting the lives of the princesses in peril.

For a hundred years the land of Hyrule was threatened by the great calamity, every year the princess seal weakened ever so slightly. After his awakening the former knight turned hero rushed from one end of Hyrule to the next making allies and defeating the calamity and it's servants. And once again the princess is reunited with her knight.
