"Christmas eve, ah another year, another lonely Christmas where I sit back, enjoy some hot chocolate and have a harry potter marathon. Sounds fun doesn't it. It would be if it weren't for the fact that I knew my "friends" were out partying and sharing gifts while I stay home pretending, I don't mind that I wasn't invited." A small coffee shop story written in one long chapter. Updated....somewhat regularly.

Every day at eight in the morning, a young woman sits at the window of her favourite coffee shop in London, enjoying her wake up mug of coffee. Everyday at eight o' ten in the morning, a young man strolls past the window of his favourite coffee shop in London, to see the lady sat in the coffee shop window. Things to Consider when Reading: This book as of February 2023 has gone under major editing since it was first written beginning 2017. I will not be editing it further, but in no means do I think it's perfect or no longer cringey, I just need to leave it be before I end up changing the whole plot. This book was written when I was in year 10/Freshman in High school. It's cringey, I wanted to be edgy. I'm so genuinely embarrassed by it that I can't bring myself to read the comments past the first few chapters. Don't judge, be kind to my young, edgy, emo self.Complete

London's chilly weather has to be one of my favourites. Especially when walking through the streets at night with almost no one around. The silence of the empty city is only heard by one of my ears as I have one AirPod in. I finally go inside the pharmacy, making my way to the hair products aisle. Picking up a vanilla-scented pair of shampoo and conditioner, I head to the self-checkout. I pay for my purchase and walk out the automatic doors, bumping into someone almost instantly. The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground startled me and I look over to the person asking if they're okay, I'm met with the green-eyed gaze of a man who held my arm to help me not fall like the thing that was on his back, which looks like a guitar case... Is it broken?! - This story is based on the song "No One Knows" by Stephen Sanchez featuring Laufey. - Lana decided to enjoy her early 20s as a physical education student and just moved to London, but only knows Charlotte, a girl she met during a trip to the city almost a decade ago. When she arrived Charlotte introduced her to Owen, who has been her best friend since birth. Lana started working as a barista and met Isaac, a man who was classmates with Owen a couple years back, and is also her coworker who seemed to enjoy playfully hitting on her, or making her life a living hell, as she would say.
