To escape an abusive relationship and start fresh, Annie Rose Kirk leaves the safety of where she grew up in the Midwest to join her best friend in Los Angeles. She lands a manager job in a secretive office run by a man she speaks to frequently but never sees. Slowly she comes to realize who he is and whom she actually works for as they come to rely on each other for unconditional support and genuine caring. Will they overcome the personal problems they have shared with each other and allow their true feelings to come through? Will they finally realize that they are the answer to their loneliness and physically feel the love they have for each other without outside influences trying to keep them apart?
