Izuku Midoriya was six years old when his world was stolen from him.
It happened in the dead of night. Men in shadowy uniforms with practiced precision crept into his room, their faces hidden by cold, emotionless masks. The boy barely had time to scream before a hand clamped over his mouth, and a sharp prick of a needle sent him into darkness.
They left something behind in his place-a flash-clone, a perfect replica of Izuku, programmed with his memories and designed to deteriorate within weeks. By the time the clone died, the grief-stricken Midoriya family would assume their quirkless boy's passing was the cruel twist of fate the world had already dealt them.
Meanwhile, the real Izuku was whisked away to a facility deep underground. It had no name, just the emblem of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) etched into its steel walls.
That was the last time Izuku Midoriya saw his home.
