When her mother forces her to marry a man she has never met before so he could become a US citizen, Astella Davies agrees to marry Adriel Bertelli, knowing full well none of it had to be real.

Adriel could have easily become a citizen without the help of anyone. He's smart, charming, and knows how to get his way - with time. But, his older brother wanted him with his family quick; and that was to marry Adriel off to his employee's daughter.

Adriel is competitive, and greedy with power. He wants what he wants and he'll get what he wants. And what he wants is to be CEO of Hunton Industry and to finally achieve greater than his older brother.
