In a world where magic and sorcery is punishable by death, A kingdom is divided by light and darkness. In the light kingdom lived Roman and Remus, once best friends and brothers but now they're on opposite sides of a war. After Remus lost his true love at the hands of his own father, he leaves to find the only people who can help him get revenge.

One year later Janus and Remus hire Thomas, Virgil, Joan, and Talyn to destroy the light kingdom by spreading a dangerous disease. Will Roman, Valerie, Logan, Niko, and Patton be able to find the dangerous sorcerers and stop them before it's too late?

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. Virgil, the love of Prince Roman's life got banished. Three years later the Light Sides and The Dark Sides go into war. They see each other again and back come the feelings although Virgil pushes him away. Both want peace, both want love. Can't this be happily ever after? Longer blurb- Prince Roman fell in love with a commoner, Virgil Sanders. He knew it was a bad idea but he couldn't help it. When his parents, the King and Queen of the Light Kingdom, found out they banished Virgil, sending him to the Dark Kingdom. When the Lightsides and the Darksides go back into war, Roman and Virgil see each other again after two years. Neither had forgotten and they only want each other back, how can they save both kingdoms and get each other? Patton, Roman's younger brother gets pulled into a plan. One Virgil made up with the help of Janus and Remus, friends he's made on the darkside. Logan being Virgil's cousin is also included in this plan, one Roman has no idea about. One that could end up with all of them dead. How is this going to work and can they all live happily ever after?

The Dark Forest by inkling0121

*Completed* With their kingdom is falling apart and in debt, Prince Roman and Prince Remus head out to the Dark Forest with hope that they will find the Heart of Life. With the Heart, they would be able to save their kingdoms crops and pull the kingdom out of the dark days. However, within a few days of traveling through the forest, they are attacked and lost in the forest, with only a servant and knight for company. Mal, a dragon witch, lives in the forest with her two sons, Janus and Virgil. Though the three are powerful, Mal made enemies with the fae who have ever since been trying to kidnap Janus for revenge. Luckily, or maybe unfortunately, they ignore Virgil for the most part since he was adopted. When they cross paths with the humans, things get a bit... messy. I will display trigger warnings at the beginning of chapters. Characters belong to Thomas Sanders.

Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Self Harm Suicidal Thoughts Self Deprecation Talking of food and weight Unknowing Anorexia Unsympathetic Virgil for awhile but he gets better Unsympathetic Roman for awhile but he also gets better. etc.. *Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. *Completed* Virgil doesn't know it, but he's the son of Lucifer. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. Virgil is sent to his Uncle Patton's place to live and goes to a new school. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him. The religious parts of this story is based loosely (very loosely) around christianity. Pairings will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus, if it's not your jam that's fine you don't need to read. There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of every chapter that will include cursing, death and blood.
