"Sandy get up, get up. she's coming!" echoed Joey from a blurred distance "Sandy!" Two heavy chains dragged along the grass floor of the swamp, she was loose and ready for my bitter sweet blood. I sat up slowly and looked at her bloody crawling figure, it was no use, she was going to get us. I closed my eyes and fell back into the mush of the swamp, is it over for me.

Quietly, I climbed down the rope ladder and sat with my back against the tree trunk. It was cold tonight, but I didn't care. Sighing, I pulled out my pocket knife and started blindly twirling it around. Within minuets I had a new set of cuts on my finger tips, and small droplets of blood had covered the blade.
