It was done. It was over. Voldemort, after 17 long years, was finally dead. Harry stood where he had faced Voldemort a few minutes before. Shouldn't he feel relieved? The weight on his shoulders gone? Strangely enough, he felt no better. In a way, he felt worse. His school, his home, was now nothing but a few towers and rubble. Some of his friends, dead. Some of his teachers, dead. His mentor, the one whom he thought was invincible, was now dead as well. Being honest with himself, Harry stood in thought. Did he even have anything to look forward to? Not that he had ever had much of that anyway.
Little did he know, the embrace he was about to receive would change his life forever.

As if Harry didn't have his hands full already, Draco Malfoy has made a comeback from the dead to torment him. He's just trying to do his job. It's been ten years since Harry defeated Voldemort. He has been promoted to Head Auror a year ago, and now into his arms there has fallen a case of illegal memory potions being sold. If he wasn't busy enough as it was, somehow Draco Malfoy has managed to tangle his name up in the case, and neither of them seem to get rid of the other, no matter how hard they try. Harry is plagued by the realization that while everyone else's life moves forward, his doesn't seem to do so, and there aren't many people who understand what he's been through.
