"You don't scare me," I braved a strong face as my voice nearly caved and demolished any chance of him buying that.

"Oh yeah?" He smiled at this, finding nothing but amusement in my words like the narcissistic control freak he was.

Luke stepped forward, cornering me against the hard wall so I had no chance to escape. One hand was pressed against the space next to my head, while he slowly brought his other hand up to my neck. I was frozen in fear and confusion as to what he was about to do, when he suddenly took two fingers and pressed them against my skin.

I could feel my pulse thumping against his touch, wishing I could do nothing but slow down my erratic heartbeat to help my case. But with Luke's fingers burning the skin of my neck by his touch and his close proximity to me, I felt like I couldn't breathe properly.

"Then why is your heart racing, troublemaker?"
