'We the Legion. We the light. Burning bright against the night.'

Attempting to graduate Aurora Academy and join the Aurora Legion, or another famous galactic force, a team of space warriors face a should-be simple task before officially receiving their grades and entering the real world. But after being sent the wrong co-ordinates and stumbling upon a mysterious cover-up that's eerily familiar, nothing makes sense other than that they need to run, or else they will be silenced, and it seems that if this gets out, the rest of the galaxy will go down with them.

NORDLYS: The Northern Lights Swinger Club by Marrragan
76 parts Ongoing Mature
Swinger Clubs in Scandinavia are exclusive, invite-only affairs, between matched couples with like-minded tastes. Nordlys, however, is a bit... *more* Thousands of years ago, the Auroran Light Workers received a distress call from a lonely little planet called Earth, sent out by the Goddess Asherah. They rushed to her aid, but unfortunately arrived too late to save her. They found the Earth embroiled in Holy War, led by her killer, her Consort Yahweh, who had consumed her to take her powers into Himself, just as He had previously killed and consumed El the Creator God (her former Consort) and stolen the Power of Creation, the position of Chief God, and the Goddess Asherah to Wife. As Yahweh's Power grows, so does His thirst for more, leading His army of followers to expand every outward, conquering more and more territory, killing and consuming more and more Gods. His ultimate goal to be the Last One Standing. The Auroran Light Workers resolve to help the other Gods who are being systematically hunted down and killed, but they are stymied by an inability to interact with the physical world, as they are Beings of Light. They endeavor a way to be born into human bodies, thus creating Nordlys, but time corrupts. Agents of Yahweh lurk everywhere. In this Modern Age, when almost all of the Old Gods are gone, and so few humans believe they ever existed in the first place, is it finally time for the Auroran Light Workers to give up their mission? Or will The Overlord of the Auroran Light Workers pin all of his hopes on the potential of one last baby?
Scorpio by Turtles5188
16 parts Complete
A desert-town math whiz meets an ambidextrous artist, a Scorpio... in the wake of a best friend's death, two white envelopes that freak people out, and a diamond pearl that might be LSD. In the outskirts of Las Vegas, freshman Aurora (a.k.a. Ari) takes refuge in calculus and probability problems to escape the demons of her painful past. Math was what the prestigious prep school Staglight Academy had recruited her for-her, a girl from the wrong side of the train tracks. Plus, numbers are logical; math makes sense. This predictable world built on immutable mathematical theorems doesn't plague you with chronic insomnia, doesn't let Katrina-your best friend-die, and definitely doesn't hurl a tornado through the middle of the Mohave. But a desert cyclone is exactly how their twin escapes begin-Ari, running from the horrors that have chased her throughout time, and Xanexa, running from the horrors that have chased xyr across the universe. They run until they meet, when Ari comes face-to-face with xyr, an amazing artist whose sketches are so real they could come to life. From that initial encounter, she begins to discover the dangerous, life-threatening truths that had been buried with Katrina. Under an increasingly constricting web of manipulation and deceit that imperil Ari and those around her, those truths resurface with the ones about herself that had been buried beneath the sands of time-truths that are wholly irrational, just like art-- --and pi, a number xe shows her the end to, even though it is real, irrational, natural, and never-ending.
