This was because our planet holds almost 8 billion people now, and I don't think there are any real names that DON'T belong to anyone. I promise I was not trying to steal these people's names, I was just trying to come up with character names that sounded realistic for the world. NOTE: This story contains injuries and illnesses. I have tried my best to make them as realistic as possible, even though they may not always actually be 100% accurate, as I need to change some things to fit the story better. Sorry for all you nerds who know the exact details of the injuries and illnesses I've mentioned in this book, it's probably gonna piss you off.

This is a soulmate mark/college AU, where Hope never went to the Salvatore School, and never met the super squad. The rest of Hope's childhood was basically canon, but Klaus is alive and he is a very overprotective dad. It's Hope's 18th birthday and she gets her very special soulmate mark, but that's not the only thing happening on her big day. She starts to have recurring dreams about a strange figure with flaming wings. Hope and the twins are the same age in this story, the twins are a couple months older.
