Jack Cinders and his friends have gone back a hundred years in the past. Jack feels like he's the glue to their friendship, which just doesn't seem to be working. And when he meets a mysterious girl with an unusual personality, things get even more complicated. In fact, he's questioning whether he wants to stay and be with her or go back to his old life.

Seth Nickson is out of ideas. He's trapped his friends in the past, and his girlfriend is unreachable. As he tries to sort everyone's problems out, he finds that he can't do it alone. So when a stranger comes along and seems to have all of the answers, he doesn't know what to do with himself.

Ashlyn Emerson is supposed to be dead. A friend that she doesn't even remember saved her from a terrible fate. So how is she supposed to repay a debt she has no memory of? And how will she do it amidst the chaos of a somewhat terrible circumstance?

Marisol Drew is a problem-solver. But when faced with the problem of a life time, things get complicated. When everybody looks to her for answers to life or death decisions, she's not sure if she'll be able to manage the stress, or if it'll break her.

30 parts Complete Mature
At age ten, Clarice Stuart is rescued from a potentially traumatizing experience by a mysterious stranger who seems to appear out of nowhere and then disappear just as suddenly. Fifteen years later, on a cold November night on an icy mountain highway as Clarice is on her way to her parents' home for the holidays, a black clad rider on a black motorcycle deliberately strands her on the highway. While Clarice waits for help to arrive, miles away her parents and brother are brutally murdered in their home. At the funeral, a man approaches her and offers his condolences, claiming to be a friend of her brother's. Clarice has a sense of recognition but can't place where she might know him from. As a precaution, three deputies are assigned to watch over Clarice until it can be determined whether or not her family was a target or simply victims of a random attack. Staying at her deceased brother's home, Clarice soon learns that even police protection can't save her from the evil that took her family. When her family's attacker appears and kills the three deputies who were meant to guard her, Clarice is certain she will die as violently as her parents and brother. But standing face to face with the killer, she is shocked to be staring into the face of her recently dead and buried brother. Before he can take her life as well, the black rider appears and saves her from the fate of her family. It is then that she realizes that the black rider is the man from the cemetery - and her guardian from the past. Suddenly she finds herself and her guardian in a deadly, terrifying game of cat and mouse with a killer who won't stay dead. "I am the textbook definition of in love with you." *** Jazz Red has had a life full of love; his parents taught him how to value himself, his siblings taught him how to stand up for what he believed in, and his family has taught him what it means to matter to people. He has people in his corner, there for him and ready to have his back. He knows that there are people who are less lucky than him-- with unaccepting parents and cruel siblings and a harsh past. He knows that when things go wrong, sometimes people are alone. Sometimes they fall apart, and there's no one else there to catch their shattered pieces. But he isn't one of them. He has friends and family that love him. So why does he want more? Why does he-- even with all the joy his family gives him-- want a different type of love? He feels selfish, undeserving. Why did he have to feel so bad about being alone when he was surrounded by people who appreciated him? Why did he have to want, why did desire never leave him alone? Well, he finds out when he meets Castor Rex, a quiet and extremely interesting football player, and that empty part in Jazz's heart feels a little bit bigger when he starts to realize Cas could fill it. Cas sees him as a grinning, happy dork he has no chance with. Jazz sees him as a adorable, grumpy jock that now, is his. Castor wants to get through the school year as quietly as possible but with how loud Jazz loves, neither of them know if it's possible, and to make matters worse they're roommates for the rest of the year. It's only a matter of time before they come together or fall apart. *** Red's Series #4. Crossover to @whoscountinganyways User Series. Can be read as a stand alone.
