DR LANCE THE NEUROSURGEON
Dr. Lance Ross was a man whose name alone carried weight. As the world's most sought-after neurosurgeon, his reputation transcended borders. Patients from all walks of life-politicians, celebrities, tech moguls, and even royalty-sought his expertise. His calendar was booked months, sometimes years, in advance, and yet he always managed to carve out time to perform pro bono surgeries for patients in desperate need. It wasn't just his skill with a scalpel that earned admiration; it was his humility, his heart, and his tireless dedication to saving lives. Lance father, Dr. Luke Ross, was a living legend himself. Growing up in his father's shadow, Liam never saw it as a burden but as an inspiration. Together, the father-and-son duo redefined medical excellence, often performing surgeries so intricate that others deemed them impossible. Despite his achievements, Liam remained grounded, donating a significant portion of his salary to fund surgeries for the less fortunate. But while his professional life flourished, Lance personal life was a barren landscape. His twin sister, Lorraine, often teased him about it. "You're the best in the world at fixing brains," Lorraine would say, "but you're clueless when it comes to matters of the heart." Lance would laugh it off, brushing aside her remarks. Between his relentless schedule and his own self-imposed barriers, he'd convinced himself that love was a luxury he couldn't afford. Relationships required time, emotional availability-two things he didn't have.Complete

A Cut Not Deep Enough
So that was the deciding factor. It became my inspiration, my reason for resorting to such seclusion. I had always needed my own space for working, which is why even when I worked in the hospital I never allowed for a nurse or doctor or any other person to be in room, except me and the patient. I am unable to perform my work with prying eyes staring me down and questioning me, questioning my methods and maybe even questioning my humanity. Thus, when she stopped living here by my side, I took that as my cue to quit working in the hospital. ---- Dr. Roy Andrews, a highly credible neurosurgeon has a knack for solving cases of comatose. His methods, however, are questionable. And highly unorthodox. He enters the patient's minds. Despite that factor, he has never once messed up a case. He has never once lost somebody. However, when patient Kester Montgomery arrives under his care, the circumstances of his case baffle Dr. Andrews, leading to the possibility of a detrimental outcome. As Andrews ventures through the depths of Kester's mind, he finds out what working on a case of mental instability is like. ***Cover photo does not belong to me. Pulse of a Heavy Heart
Working hard was my motto. I put it upon myself to please everyone, to work hard, and to make a life that would honor everyone in my family. Until I stepped into the cold waters of the real world, unshielded by my parents. Now, as a Integrated Cardiothoracic Surgery Resident, my life feels far from complete. As the youngest resident in an elite integrated cardiothoracic surgery program, Dr. Amara Iyers has always thrived under pressure. But behind her steady hands and calculated precision lies a heart weighed down by grief, self-doubt, and the relentless expectations of a family she can no longer lean on. Haunted by the loss of her parents and brother, Amara's every move feels like a test-her success a tribute to their sacrifices, her failure unthinkable. The endless hours in the OR and the constant demands of academic medicine leave her questioning her abilities and wondering if she's truly cut out for the life she's chosen. Outside the hospital walls, the silence of her empty apartment amplifies her loneliness, and the smiles she wears to mask her pain begin to crack. When an unexpected rival encounter forces her to confront her deepest fears and insecurities, following a life of love and romance, Amara embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Through the wisdom of mentors, the camaraderie of friends, and her own growing resilience, she begins to understand that healing isn't just for the body-it's for the soul. In a story of heartache and hope, Pulse of a Heavy Heart explores the pressures of perfection, the weight of expectations, and the power of self-compassion. Amara's journey reminds us that sometimes the hardest battle isn't saving a life-it's learning to live your own.
