Then the gang meet up with Prince Vegeta and Nappa. Vixie knew Vegeta when they were kids. Their fathers arranged them to be married because they would have powerful offspring hybrids. The only reason that kept him alive; his pride as a royalty of saiyajin. When he was offered an opportunity to live with the genius family of a certain woman who had help create a bizarre machine that would enhance the capabilities of a saiyan through gravity, he seized the occasion to progress deeper in his training and once he was done, he'll beat Kakarot and rule the world. Of course, he knew no one on earth liked him. But it didn't matter.
