Henrietta stood out for all the wrong reasons. She was constantly second to her brother, brushed aside by her father, and laughed at by the rest of the public. With many mistakes and an arranged marriage looming over her, she leaves the only home she knew. No plans of ever returning. Along with her were her childhood crush, her nerdy friend, an egomaniac, and turbulent twins. Their ticket out? Stealing a boat. Not just any boat, a pirate ship.

Four years later, the seas are not as safe as they used to be. Emerald is the captain of the Lost Jewel, an infamous pirate ship. Tall tales about the ship and her crew ran rampant from the smallest villages to the largest kingdoms. When their past catches up to them, the crew of one of the most feared pirate ships has no choice but to follow the demands forced upon them.
