Tony Stark and Pepper are happily married with a daughter, Morgan, and a foster son, Harley, whom they hope to be adopting soon. Tony soon comes across a strange orphaned boy from Queens and decides to take him in as an intern, but it causes trouble for his family. Sides are soon taken and Tony finds himself caught in the middle. On top of all that, a suspicious new hero who calls himself Spider-Man has been hanging around a little too close to the Stark Tower for Tony's comfort.

Tony Stark's daughter is lost in Gotham with no way of getting home and a certain Batfamily trying to adopt her. This was bad. Her thoughts were hard to make out with the pain in her head. The last thing she remembered clearly was the stage and then Harley and Peter trying to grab for her. Something had to happen in between then and now, that led her to being dropped on a rooftop. She padded her pockets down and cursed when she realized she didn't have her phone. Any chance of using the emergency credit card she kept slipped inside the case was lost with it. Only her Stark Watch remained, though severely cracked. When she touched its screen, nothing happened. She'd need to find another way to get in touch with her family. CROSS POSTED Tony was not okay. Tony was the exact opposite of okay. Tony, stupid, stupid Tony, not only recruited a teenager, he recruited a teenager that was now being targeted by Hydra. This had to be his fault. Hydra must have somehow found out Peter helped him in Germany and picked him out as the weakest link. They wanted to find a way to get to the Avengers, to get to Tony, and they found it. ***** In the aftermath of Civil War, the Accords have been sorted out, but the Avengers are far from mended. Their issues must be pushed aside, however, when Peter Parker, who has until then kept his real identity a secret, arrives at Stark Tower to tell Tony that May is missing. It will take the whole team to figure out what Hydra has planned, but they are nowhere near prepared for what they will find. PS: I promise the writing does get better! I was expecting this to be a shorter fic, but as you can tell it kind of ran away from me and I take it more seriously than I did in the beginning! Thanks for reading!Complete
