Spencer Reid thought that by going back to work the loss of Maeve would hurt less. It hasn't and as he struggles with the weight of his grief, he takes some advice from Rossi and Garcia and goes to a support group. There he is soon befriended by Serena Reyes, who soon becomes the only person Reid feels capable of being vulnerable with about Maeve. As a friendship blooms between kindred grieving souls, Reid learns there's more to Serena than she lets on.
