Things didn't get any better when her daughter, Princess Zelda was born, as now she was expected to be both a perfect mother as well as a perfect queen. 

She escapes off to Gerudo Desert to take her mind off everything, and in doing so, she meets the Prophet of Doom - although to her, he isn't quite that.
