The reality that Azalea lives in is small and chaotic for her. Nothing but annoying and bothersome for to want to be involved with. But, when Azalea and her writing class are doing a pen pal system with students at another high school, it turns out different than she thought it would've been, but different in a good way. Back and forth, each letter, opening her eyes and showing her the big world yet to be ventured through.
