Lilith's Beginnings

Lilith Farah Cora. A young, African-European girl with strong Celtic roots is raised in an abusive household after her parent's deaths. In a group home, she is fed little, clothed by charitable rich people, and overworked. Beaten if she isn't. She escapes to live on the streets for nearly four months, when a strange owl swoops in one day and drops off a very fancy-looking letter. Inside, entails a list of school supplies and a date set for that very day to return the letter with her answer, and two months to head off to its destination.
After finding directions to Diagon Alley written on the back of the note and signed by a mysterious 'A.P.W.B. Dumbledore', she tries asking for help from people but most simply walk by her. Until one boy gets irritated and throws a pouch of coins at her head, narrowly missing. He tells her to keep the change and saunters off.
With everything she needs, directions to King's Cross Station, and a newfound pet rat, she heads off to find her Destiny. So she keeps telling herself. Do you want to find out what happens next?
