I'm a married woman I kept reminding myself over and over again. Should I still need to I mean it's been almost 5 years since we promised to allow each other to be happy apart. I wasn't all too on board until I became a big part of the twins' life. I made a vow to their beautiful mom to be faithful to her. Ugh I mean my wife Liyah. I haven't seen her since the funeral last year.

"I'm outside, I have important news to tell you...Haily get your- I heard noise in the background like someone else was there. I ran to open the door. When my niece ran after a little version of her. She had my brother's eyes and a similar birth mark on her cheek. She hid behind my leg.

"Rebecca this is your aunti Lily, introduce yourself"

She hugged my leg and looked up at me with a big smile.

"My name is Rebeya Ace Malyolm and I'm 4 years old"

4 years ago Mason died, he died without knowing his daughter.

I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her. I try. God, I try.. I look down at the sand beneath my feet, forcing myself to dig through every memory, every hazy night out, every stupid decision I might've made-but nothing. Not a single moment of how I got it surfaced. I let out a frustrated breath and rake a hand through my hair, feeling the panic rise like bile in my throat. When I finally lift my head to speak, Ashley's already staring at me, and I can tell-she knows my answer before I say a word. "You don't remember," she says softly, nodding like she expected it all along. __________________________________________ Crazy thing happened...Three years ago, a tragic accident left Ashley scarred and shattered. Aiden survived, but when he woke from a year-long coma, every memory of the girl he loved was gone. Now, Ashley clings to the hope he'll remember-But as time slips through her fingers, the question haunts her-will she lose him all over again? While tortured and held captive as a prisoner of war, she became my reason to keep breathing. The force that fueled my will to fight. To survive. When I woke after the rescue to discover the life I thought I was coming home to was but a figment of my imagination, hallucinations brought about by pain, desperation, and isolation... it nearly broke me. Fifteen years since I first lost her, at last, we have a second chance. Holding her in my arms, finally feeling the warmth of her skin as she melts under my touch, is like a dream. She and her two little girls are now as essential to my existence as the air I breathe. However, just as things start falling into place, the universe steps in, threatening to take it all away. I used to think that choosing her cost me everything I'd ever loved, but now I see that in choosing her and her children, I have the chance to reclaim all that I lost. They are my salvation. My true path to redemption. Which is why I'll leave no stone unturned, why I will scorch this world to the ground if that's what it takes to save them. And when I do, I will fight to convince her once and for all they are meant to be mine, just as I was destined to be theirs. In the Broken Redemption Series, one man's vow to protect the woman he lost becomes a battle between redemption, forgiveness, and the kind of love that refuses to let go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is Book 3 of Lucas & Emilia's Broken Redemption arc, the emotional conclusion to their story. For the full journey, start with Book 1: Broken Vows.

The wail of sirens echoed throughout the hospital as the emergency room doors burst open. Two individuals were being carted in while another gurney was carrying someone draped in a white cloth. It was too late for them. I could just barely hear what the paramedics were yelling to the doctors as they rushed to the operating room. "Car crash. Must have lost control. Both middle aged men. One is Native-American with long black hair and light brown eyes. He has multiple lacerations to the abdomen, his skull was fractured, left knee cap shattered, and internal bleeding." the young man explained. "The other is Caucasian with blonde hair and green eyes. His neck is broken, there are four fractures along his spine, we think his spleen might have burst, and there is a large piece of the car door sticking out of his chest. Possibly the handle. Both are in critical condition. There was a third passenger, but she was gone before we got to them." A louder sob ripped through my chest, my entire body shuddering from the force of it. Tears began streaming down my face faster than I could wipe them off. I wrapped my fingers around my ears the same way I did that night, silently begging the memories to go away. Before I knew it, I was rocking back and forth. "It's all my fault I should've died Should still be here All my fault Should be dead Take me Suffering Can't take it Find your happy place Find your happy place Find your happy place." My body was wracking with sobs. I wanted to stop it but I couldn't. I wasn't strong enough. "I'm so sorry I'm so sorry Should've been me Should've been me Forgive me Please forgive me I'm so sorry I'm so sorry."

Marriage Of Convenience

45 parts Complete Mature

Jae Yung... How in the sand hell did my day turn out so wrong? One minute I'm getting dressed for my brother's wedding and in the very next I'm being forced to wed his fiance "McKenna Thomas," my sworn nemesis. I get that public image is important to our parents but this was too much to force upon me. Mckenna and I couldn't stand being in the same room together let alone married. This is a marriage destined to fail disastrously because McKenna and I were like oil and water, fire, and ice. McKenna Thomas: I stood at the altar staring straight into the face of Caleb's younger brother, Jae. His angry brown eyes were burning holes into the veil that was obscuring my face from his view. His cold expression was causing the once pleasant air around me to turn ice cold. Tears formed in my eyes as the humiliation and pain of being left at the alter constructed a gigantic barrier around my already shattered heart. The only thing that was forcing me to go along with this sham of a marriage and to seal my fate to a ruthless Jae Yung was my daughter "Raleigh" safety and well-being. #1 KMBW #1 In Wook #2 In AMBW #2 In Shotgun Weddings #4 BWKM #13 Nemesis
