'Imagine if you were hiccups twin (yes I know, not that original, but stay with me)  thanks to a certain nightfury and your brother, the age long war between Berkians and dragons come to an end. You find out you are engaged to the berserker prince Dagur. But well, we already know how Dagur takes the whole 'We don't kill dragons' thing.Takes place before the events of HTTYD and will go on likely till race to the edge, I haven't quite decided yet.

Hi!!! I'm Clover and this is my first ever fanfic!!! also this story was inspired by @Otaku-chanxoxo work Betrothed, and forgiveness, be sure to check out her work. Other than the idea of being betrothed to Dagur I'm making sure to not copy and make original work, Dagur is a bit yandere too. But in all honesty that's just because he's Dagur. lol.

At least he's not alone though, and with his cousins and several dragons by his side, they leave the archipelago. Eventually, it also draws the attention of Berk, who are suffering from increased raids and struggling to survive. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. Will he help the tribe who wronged him or leave them to suffer? Only time will tell. And, per usual, I don't own HTTYD or its characters.
