Eris stopped walking and stood right in front of him, and from thin air, offered him an apple. It was the purest gold he had ever seen, almost as bright and fiery as her eyes. Peter stared at it for a moment, before looking back up at her. "An apple? What kinda Snow White stuff is this?"
"It's not just any apple." She smirked, rolling it between her hands. "It's your ticket out of this hellhole; you take a bite, and you find yourself back where you belong. Before Mysterio, before the Blip, before Thanos! Everyone will be happy and alive. . .Thor. Clint Barton. Bruce Banner. Steve Rogers. Natasha Romanoff. . .Tony Stark."
Peter's fingers twitched. He wanted to snatch the apple from her hands right then and there. But. . . "What's the catch?" He asked, his eyes glued to the golden apple.
Eris grinned. "A small price to pay, I promise. Really, I'm being generous. I just want the world's memories of Spider-Man. Everyone will forget who Spider-Man is, and you will make sure no one remembers!"

Natasha tells me calmly as she flies. A moment passes with her searching jade eyes on mine before I sigh. "It's been three months," I tell her green eyes as she suppresses a smile. "I've been gone longer. This was your chance to stretch your legs, Jo, and you did extremely well." She reassures me. "What's bothering you?" Natasha pushes slightly, knowing I'm not telling her something. My eyes roll. "Are you forgetting I didn't exactly have permission to leave? And how adamant everyone was that I shouldn't have?" She raises an eyebrow. "Everyone?" She repeats and I deflate slightly in surrender. She was on my side, mostly. "You're over eighteen and legally allowed to make your own decisions. The team has no hold on you, Jo." I fix her with an incredulous glare and her lips twitch. "Other than affection." Sighing, I press my lips together. "Right. And that has no hold on me."
