While riding a public bus to school, young Mia discovered a tree that had always been there, and despite her visiting that road regularly, she only noticed it that day for the first time. While she tried to remember any detail about the tree the bus reached her school and she had to stop thinking about the unannounced, mysterious appearance of the tree. A strange chain of events happen in Mia's life who is an adolescent. The events show themselves in such a way that the young teen is misunderstood, and under pressure of the circumstances alongside losing herself, she also misunderstands people around her. A quest to search for her true self, WHO she really is is the subject or the theme around which this short story revolves. The tale tells of the convoluted period of life of a young girl, who is exposed to the complex world outside, a little too early without proper armor (preparation). As she tries to explain things in her way, they get more tangled and convoluted, while she faces the mistreatment of her seniors.

One direct text message. To the wrong person. Coincidence, fate, mistake, call it whatever you want. All Mia Lynch knows is that when she texted someone, the person who received the message wasn't the one she intended it for. Maybe she fell right into the clutches of fate, or maybe the conversations that follow will only lead to future heartbreak. Maybe it was meant to be, maybe it wasn't. Only time will tell, and when you're on the internet, time is all you have and don't, simultaneously. "But how most stories begin with a hi or a hey, ours didn't. Ours began with a WTF." She smiles, tilting her head, "Maybe that's why our story is different from the rest." Cover made by @unicornacorn All rights reserved 2019®
