Superpowers
"Levi, you are part of our family. You're practically my brother!" "I told you to stop saying that Alison!" "Stop saying wha-" Suddenly his lips crash to mine in a unity of passion. I'm in shock. Paralyzed by this new revelation. It was nothing like before, it wasn't gentil, tender or even sweet. It was desperate. Reviving. Intense. We were like north and south. Night and day. Love and hate. And yet that thought only made us feel more alive. ---------- We've all felt that moment in our lives when we feel like we want to die. That simple action to end all the pain and suffering. Because this pain we're feeling is so consuming it drives us to the edge of insanity. It's not fun, is it. Allie Carter lives a normal life, with normal friends and goes to a normal school. The most exciting part of her week is when a new episode of Planet Earth is aired at 8pm on a Tuesday night. Nothing really happens in her boring life. Nothing good. Nothing bad. But when her brother's best friend - Levi Hayes - attempts to commit suicide, her entire life flips upside down putting everything in a new perspective. She plays the hero... ...but what if the hero needs to be saved from herself? Marinette Kent
Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year. Pairs, France here I come Characters belong to their rightful owners. (Daminette)Complete
Beyond the Sun
Moving from the crime capital of the world, to the quiet idyllic scenery of Smallville, the last thing Annie Lockett half expects is to befriend the one person who the other children label a 'freak'. In the same respect, the last thing Clark Kent expected was to have the new comer be nice to him, and soon become the best friend he never seemed to have before. Becoming inseparable is one thing, but growing up with budding romantic feelings is another thing completely, coupled with a rather big secret about Clark that he'd much rather keep a secret.
