In another life. In another time. In another land. Somewhere far away. Sometime other than now. Maybe... maybe they would have been able to be together. But the maybes, the what ifs, are simply that. They are uncertain. They can come to be or never become. One can wish, though. One can hope that the uncertainty becomes certain. That the wish comes true and the hope holds sure.
