Sonic and his friend, XLR8, embrace their new home on Earth after bad guys wanting not only Sonic's powers but also XLR8's. They have stumbled upon Canterlot City and have been secretly living in -- until they accidentally knock out the power grid, sparking the attention of super-uncool evil genius and mad Scientist, Dr. Robotnik, and his partner, an evil doppelganger of XLR8: Rush. Sonic and XLR8 meet and team up with Canterlot High's star athlete, Rainbow Dash, and her adoptive sister, Scootaloo, and together they must travel to Manehattan to retrieve Sonic's rings and stop Robotnik and Rush from using Sonic and XLR8's unique power for world domination.
