Lord of the rings fanfic, sequel to my Hobbit fanfic, where the main character (Andriel) has decided she must be part of the Fellowship of the ring. But there is a problem with this. She is King Thranduil's soulmate and had made a promise to him years ago that she would never leave his side and would stay as queen. Should she break this promise for the sake of middle earth? Or will she assist from a distance.

Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself.
