The mythical romance of Eros and Psyche may have ended happily, but to quell Aphrodite's jealousy and rage, all other demigod children of hers are forbidden from falling in love. But as a way to feel some semblance of joy from romantic love, they do help their older brother Eros as "Cupids", helping mortals find love. 

Poppy is one of the youngest and most beautiful demigod daughters of Aphrodite, but on her first matchmaking mission as a Cupid, she sees Branch, a handsome young Troll, and accidentally pricks herself with one of her love arrows, falling deeply in love with him. Luckily for her, Poppy manages to sneak away from her mother and befriend Branch. 

However, Branch seems to have a whole group of admirers, much to his annoyance and Poppy's dismay. Will history and legend repeat itself as Poppy helps Branch push his persistent fans away while trying to get him to fall for her at the same time? Or will her jealous mother keep her away from her true love? And what other secrets of the Greek gods will they learn concerning their happiness?
