In a world where 95% of the population got some kind of tattoo representing the person that was made for them, Jason was ecstatic he was apart of it. He loved his soul guide, it came with the promise that there was someone out there just for him, someone that would be brought into his life and make everything right. He believed in the idea of having someone made to love him and balence him. They would challenge him to be better.

But now? Now he fucking laughs at the idea of actually thinking any of that shit would work out like he lived in some fairy tale bullshit.

Jason scoffs at the idea of soulmates now. Fuck that shit, it's all some societal or mutation fuckery anyway. Like anyone would ever stick around and put him first. 

Better to just shove that shit aside and prepare youself the rejection. He didn't need to get his hopes up on some nonexistent dream and belief of "the one for you".
