Mooncry is born into ThunderClan under their new leader, Stormstar. Not long after her apprentice ceremony, the news of rats running rampant on the moors comes about. When an unknown illness in RiverClan begins to spread, Mooncry begins to have dreams about a mysterious group of cats, and sets out to find them in order to save the clan from its doom.
⚠️ TW: descriptive violence, gore, death, as well as psychological aspects, emotional distress, etc. ⚠️
I have been working on this storyline since June of 2017, and have been writing since December of 2019. I had written up to chapter 10, and now it is being re-mastered here in Wattpad. Once all chapters have been written, I will then begin my editing process by polishing each chapter at a time.
Any constructive criticism is VERY welcome!
[For my own purposes, I have slightly altered a few things from the books. These things include but are not limited to:
- SkyClan (non-existent because I wasn't a huge fan of them joining the lake personally, PLUS I wrote this before they came back to the other four clans)
- Use of words such as "Mama, Mother, Father, Brother, Sister" (in use to clarify family relation between cats) ]

Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. Firepaw is an apprentice training to be a warrior in TreeClan. After being separated from his family by a fox, he is forced into unknown terrain and picked up by a TreeClan border patrol. Firepaw proves himself worthy of becoming an apprentice. But life as a clan cat proves to be difficult and not just because it's winter and prey is scarce. His clan mates don't trust him, the deputy and some other warriors hate his guts, and many taunt and tease him for being a rogue in his past. Plus, there is lies and betrayal at every turn.
