Author's Note: So..I watched Banana Fish. And...in response to the tears that I have shed, I shall make comfort story, so enjoy comfort!
Ash had to lay low after the magical "disappearance" of Dino Golzine. He has to make sure that nobody is linking the whole issue back to him. But he knows that he barely has enough time to go to Eiji as he should be leaving for Japan any time soon. It's either Ash goes with him or he stays, but by god he refuses for him to leave his side, not now at least.

Worth It {Ash x Eiji}
A student, a gang leader, and a damaged person are all personalities living inside of Ash Lynx. New York is rough, and he's slowly gotten used to it. But when Eiji Okumura, an innocent exchange student, stumbles into his walk of life, things become messy. Old foes formulate new plans and conspire against the world, and Ash struggles to choose between the life he has, and the life he wants. This is based off of canon Banana Fish, so some events occur as they do in the anime. However, as most things diverge from the original, a butterfly effect takes place. This story ends up completely different than where everything started. DISCLAIMER: All rights for the story belong to the Banana Fish creator! Countdown To Happiness
After Dino's death, Ash handed over all the documents and information he had on the Banana Fish drug, Dino's crime network and child prostitution ring and all the people on his payroll over to the police. In return he got immunity from prosecution which meant that after being the key witness in the trial that changed New York forever, all charges against him would be dropped and he would be free. Now, Ash was free which was what he had been fighting for for the last three years with only one goal in mind - to see Eiji again. But how would he contact him when Eiji had assumed he was dead? How would he explain it and apologize for all the pain he caused him? What if he moved on or hated him? Or worse, had forgotten about him? With Max's encouragement, Ash still tries to contact Eiji, hoping he gives him a second chance now that he is free... A new year is a good moment to start over, right? Will Eiji feel the same? With a happy ending, of course✨Complete
