Marnie has two grandmothers, a mom and dad, and many cousins. Ruth Crawford and the Crawford family were a long line of descendants of the queen of England so they carry around a snobbish attitude. Ruth Crawford was also a long time retired actress who is considered some sort of a legend in Hollywood but her wife Egnes was a woman from humble beginnings and a very kind-hearted woman.
