What Happened? (The Walking Dead/ Carl Grimes)

Charlie Summers, she's 14 years old. Trapped in a world, where the dead become the living. She as skills in combat and is good with a gun. But will that alone be enough? She needs to find and protect the little brother who as been gone since shit hit the fan.

After two years of living on her own in the apocalypse, a few different groups here and there, she finally finds a prison to crash in. Expecting just another rest stop waiting to collapse. What she didn't realize was that her brother, Tommy found that same prison and is not so happy to see her again. Why? What happened to him and since when is he a such a asshole?

He's not alone in the place. She meets kind people who take her in as if she was one of there own from the start. The only other person her age is a boy named Carl Grimes. They bound over hunting one day and become 'friends'.

*So I started this story about a year ago, I haven't done a chapter in a very long time. I think I might edited it. At the time I wrote it I was in the 6th grade so it doesn't have the best literature. I'll warn you know this story is under construction. Safety hats are necessary.
