"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask him from across the room. I have been feeling his glare on me for a long time.
There is no response from him, what feels like an eternity but I know he heard me.
I look up at him from my work and find him still staring at me, eyebrows furrowed, jaw clenched and his eyes dilated. Worried by his expression, I get up to reach him but he gets up immediately and starts pacing the length of the room, agitated. His hands tug his hair strongly as if he would rip them out.
"Harry what's wrong?" I ask. He turns towards me and makes intimidating eye contact. I stop in my tracks.
"Everything is fucking wrong, Alena!" He yells, distressed. "You just can't look so damn beautiful and expect me to do nothing about it. How can I just sit there knowing that I can never touch you the way I want, kiss every inch of your body the way I have always dreamed or hold you in my arms forever."
I stand there silently.
The next thing he does is something no one expected.
