Eveline was never meant to go to Hogwarts. Her parents wanted to homeschool her, train her to do magic without a wand, and keep her a secret from the rest of the wizarding world. However, the spell that kept her hidden wears off, and she receives a letter inviting her to start her third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
To avoid gossip, her parents let her go, under the condition that she will use a fake wand and stay quiet about her heritage. In a family filled with liars, deceivers and schemers, she is quite familiar with keeping secrets. There are a lot of things her parents don't know, and there are a lot of things she can unravel about herself and her family.
Doing it all alone is quite discouraging. Thankfully, her family is close to the Malfoys, and Draco turns out to be her biggest support.
Hopefully, he's not just there for her because of their parents.
