When she moves back to Tulsa, Ash rekindles her friendships with her greaser gang. She finds her best friend from her childhood, Sodapop Curtis.
The only problem is, she's not who she used to be. She's more of a tomboy, but she's no longer a greaser. She's been able to make a life for herself, and now she's part of the middle class. She no longer will live down the street from her boys. But that doesn't mean she can't hang out with them, right? They won't treat her any different, will they?
