Laian hates so many things, but out of all those things, she hates uncertainties the most. Who wouldn't, anyway? Growing up in a privileged family, she always gets what she needs and what she wants. Everything is certain, that's what she thought at first. 

Everything is certain, until everything is not. 

Despite getting all the things she had, she feels empty. Laian has everything a teenager like her wants, but not a purpose. That is also the reason why she finds life meaningless. What is the point of living on Earth if you don't know the reason why you're here?
