Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.Concluida

Our eyes met, and my pulse soared. The world narrowed to a single, thrilling possibility. Each whispered word, every tender touch, pulled me under his spell. I was lost, and I knew it. The hug that changed everything became our sanctuary, our haven. Yet, shadows of doubt crept in, taunting me. Had I transformed the untouchable heartthrob or merely become a stepping stone? The question haunted me, a constant hum in the background of our intoxicating romance. Was our love a work of art or a fleeting masterpiece, destined to fade?"Concluida

Let It Consume You
Give yourself time to feel your emotions But don't let them control you Let it consume you But not forever. There are moments in life when you have to let yourself feel, the pain the trauma, the depression the anxiety. There are also moments you have to force yourself out of the darkness, before it fully consumes you. These poems are the moments, when I stewed in my sadness, gave it the steering wheel. We all have someone who is hidden in the bottom of our hearts. When we think of him, we will always feel a little pain inside, but still we can't forget about him. One Thousand Tears
I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. Somehow it feels like some sort of imaginary relief to my reality. As if, the pain I feel only exists until the words are free.
