The kingdoms of Caedland and Saroviya have been at war for centuries, and a darkness has spread across the Northern Lands. In the east, Saroviya has been crippled by fighting on multiple fronts, while Caedland still reels from the murder of its queen's consort and the disappearance of its princess nearly two decades ago.
