Silver the Hedgehog, who now resides in the present instead of the future, gets abruptly, but cordially invited to partake in the next winter-based Olympics tournament. But unbeknownst to everyone, even his "friend" Blaze, Silver had been having these mysterious dreams. These dreams? So real that they blur the line between asleep and awake. So familiar, so vivid, that it's scary....too scary....

As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine."
