Ghosts of the Past

Everyone knew and loved Mettaton, he was proud, grandiose, and an inspiration to many. But underneath his glamorous exterior was a miserable, self loathing ghost who was deeply ashamed of his egotistical ways and even more so of his true self.

Six months have passed since the barrier was broken and Mettaton is living his dream as a star on the surface in a body he loves and the family he's reconnected with. Things seem to be better than they've ever been, until memories he thought he had buried resurface, and his habitual selfishness comes between his relationships.

Burdened with the guilt of his actions and the secrets he keeps, Mettaton fears he may never grow out of the worst parts of himself as he continues to push his loved ones away. Little does he know that the people around him have demons of their own, and that together they may be able to save them from themselves.
